Headaches and Migraines

Additional Information

  • Headaches and Migraines are common symptoms of underlying chronic high amplitude brainwave activity.
  • Chronic high amplitude brainwave activity can cause vasodilation (migraines) or vasoconstriction (headaches).
  • When this chronic brainwave dysfunction is present, emotional, biological, or hormonal stress can easily trigger the symptoms.
  • EEG brain mapping can identify brain regions with chronic high amplitude brainwave activity even while asymptomatic.
  • Studies show that EEG guided neurofeedback is highly effective at eliminating or greatly reducing chronic headaches and migraines.

Neurofeedback and Migraines Headache Research

"For the neurofeedback group the majority (54%) experienced complete cessation of their migraines, and many others (39%) experienced a reduction in migraine frequency of greater than 50%".
